Dear friends and family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of Karla Kelsch, who passed away on August 24, 2025. Karla was a cherished mother, wife, daughter, sibling, and friend whose presence brought light and love to everyone around her. During her battle with breast cancer over the past 2 years, many have watched her strength and love for others while facing her own personal struggle. Karla was a fighter who continued to live life to the fullest.

Karla had a beautiful vision for her family: to show her family the world. She believed that travel could teach them compassion, wonder, and resilience — values she lived by every day. She dreamed of taking them to see new places, experience different cultures, and create unforgettable memories together.

Though her journey was cut short, we want to keep that dream alive. While funeral expenses have been handled, we’re creating this GoFundMe to help the Kelsch family navigate the emotional and the unforeseen financial challenges that come in the weeks and months ahead as well as a way to help support the children in experiencing the world as their mother hoped they would.

Funds raised will go toward:

-Time off work to focus on healing

-Any other unanticipated needs that arise

-Future travel experiences in her memory
