Support the Dinsmore Family After Bomb Cyclone
UPDATE: Thank you all so much for your generosity of contributions, I am getting ready to take a huge portion of the tree company check to them, but we still fall short of the bill, and also still needing to make some major repairs to the home. if you can keep sharing it helps, thank you so much.
Trista
Hello friends, family and community,
The recent bomb cyclone in our northwest has devastated so much of our community and touched the lives of us all. I am reaching out to help a particular family near and dear to my heart, the Dinsmore family! Unfortunately, they have had more losses than wins.
While still healing from the loss of their father, this recent storm has caused trees to fall onto their home. Not only were they out of power for 4 days, causing food to spoil, the fallen trees damaged structures, allowing water to pour in, severely damaged the garage as well as a detached bedroom; leaving one family member displaced and the rest in an untenable position.
I am hoping to reach out for help from you, our community to ease the financial burden of rebuilding and to start the healing process in order to move forward. They could use a victory in their corner.
Snohomish Tree Company, upon seeing the severity of the situation and with an already full schedule, was super amazing and came out Monday and cleared the trees. They also are willing to work with the family and myself to let us pay off the tree work with this go fund me page and with time.
$4,909 From Snohomish Tree Company (billed to Trista and Robert.)
$5,000+ est. for repairs and needs.
Goal $10,000
With two young kids and Christmas right around the corner, anything will be helpful and greatly appreciated. We thank you!
I had the great joy of cooking a hot meal sitting with Mom and kids this weekend, the Shire kids and the Dinsmore kids wrote letters to Santa with list of things the kids would like. If you are wanting to adopt a list, please reach out and I can send you the list.
With Warm Regards
Robert & Trista Senger and the Shire.
