Many of you may already know the incredible Callaway family and the hardships they have endured over the past few years. They are some of the most selfless, kind, and genuine people you could ever meet—always the first to show up for others in times of need.

Three years ago, they lost their father to pancreatic cancer. Through that heartbreak, they leaned on each other and continued to move forward with strength, love, and positivity.

In recent months, life also brought meaningful milestones that were just the beginning of the start of the rest of their lives. Elissa and her fiancé Jared are expecting and due April 20. Caitlin and her fiancé Mark bought a house in August while Ernie and his girlfriend Kendra also just bought a house last month. Bonnie was so happy for her kids and could not wait to become a grandmother.

Now, as Elissa and Jared await the arrival of their baby boy any day, what should be a time filled with joy has turned into unimaginable grief. On April 13th, Elissa’s birthday, the unthinkable happened. Their mother, Bonnie Callaway, passed away unexpectedly.

Bonnie was an extraordinary woman—a devoted mother, loving wife, caring sister and aunt, loyal friend, and soon-to-be grandmother who was so excited to welcome her first grandchild. Her loss is truly beyond words.

The Callaways would never ask for help, but they need the support of their community now more than ever.
