Support Taylor's Wildlife Conservation Journey

Hello Everyone! My name is Taylor and I am reaching out for your support to help me fulfill a lifelong dream of contributing to wildlife conservation in South Africa's Zululand Reserve. I have been accepted to volunteer with Wildlife ACT, a renowned non-profit organization founded in 2008 that is dedicated to critical conservation work.

As a volunteer, I will be actively involved in protecting endangered species and preserving their natural habitats. This incredible opportunity will not only provide me with hands-on experience in the field but also allow me to make a tangible impact through my efforts and dedication.

I will be graduating soon with a focus on environmental studies/science, global studies, and sustainability. This volunteer experience is the perfect culmination of my studies and will equip me with invaluable skills for my future career in sustainability and conservation.

To make this dream a reality, I am aiming to raise $4,000. These funds will help cover my travel expenses and the rest goes directly to Wildlife ACT to provide my food, shelter, and training costs, allowing me to fully participate in this essential work. My volunteer assignment will be 4 weeks starting mid-September!

Cost breakdown:

Airfare: $1200-$1700 if you have a pilot/buddy/airline hookup, that's also insanely appreciated, please reach out to me in a DM!!

First 2 weeks: ZAR 28800 (about $1570 USD)

Second 2 weeks: ZAR 18200 (about $990 USD)

Airport to Project Transport: ZAR 2800 (about $150 USD)

Total cost: ~$4500 USD
