Hello everyone, my name is Max Harris and my mom's name is Maya Harris. 10 months ago we brought Suki into our lives. Suki is a 1-year-old pug that has a special way of bringing the light into the world even in the darkest times. Suki is a professional when it comes to bringing smiles, laughs, and love to whomever she lays eyes on. Whether it may be a head laying on your shoulder when you hold her, or a look from her big puppy eyes, Suki has no obstacle when it comes to making someone's day better.

Suki went in to see the vets on Monday, December 30th at 7am to have neutering surgery. However, after the surgery was completed, Suki was not waking up from the meds and was immediately rushed to the ER. After many stressful hours, Suki woke up. And is now currently isolated in an air-sealed box fully relying on an oxygen tank to breathe. We later were informed that Suki has a lung condition where there is air formed around her lungs and in between her chest, restricting full flow of oxygen to the her lungs. Although we are beyond grateful that she is awake, all is not good news. Because of Suki's condition, Suki will need an additional surgery that involves a professional anesthesiologist and an ENT specialist to fix her stoic snares palette. These additional procedures are crucial to her recovery, but they come with significant costs.

The veterinary bills have already surpassed what we could have ever anticipated, and now we are faced with the need for two specialists to give Suki the best chance of a full recovery. We’re reaching out to friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers who can help us provide the care Suki needs. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and help ensure that our miracle furry, Suki, is able to get back to being the happy, playful, loving dog she was before.
