True beauty shines from within , its contagious , it is the ability to fight and continue fighting despite the odds which you are facing  and doing so with grace and perseverance  that is remarkable. This is for Steven my friend who's beauty shines brightly in every way  , an amazing artist , a talented singer & one
who continues to fight a battle when the odds are not in his favor . Five weeks ago Steven fell THREE stories onto a concrete sidewalk severing his spine and breaking part of his leg. Truly someone was watching out for him that day and Doctors say he's lucky to be alive .  Steven was hospitalized for over a month during which he underwent several surgeries and spent weeks in the ICU. Despite his accident he has a determination that is truly admariable . This week Steven arrived home and is faced with the daunting task of learning how to walk once again . The prognosis is unclear as of now but it will take several months to a year for Steven to regain full mobility . As an aspiring artist , Stevens sole income was as a bartender at Whole Foods and he has no insurance nor savings .
