Support Simmone's Mom in Her Cancer Battle

Hi friends, my name is Simmone Sotelo-Gould. As a few of you know, my mother was recently diagnosed with what we thought as Stage 1 Colon Cancer. She had undergone surgery on May 9th to resect her tumors she had grown. While in surgery, they had realized my mom’s cancer had spread past her wall and to her lymph nodes. This now puts my mom’s immune system at risk, and her cancer is now characterized as Stage 3.

We frequently make trips to Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan because we’ve heard they have the best treatment, but unfortunately our minimum once a month trips have been getting costly.

June 10th was my mom’s first session of chemotherapy. It has left her physically and mentally frail, and her recent diagnosis has taken a toll on her body. 

So I started this GoFundMe to help raise some money for my mom to help pay for our trips to and from her treatment centers, and to help with any additional costs that myself or my mom cannot afford on our own.
