Support Shuree' Wood and her family!
Don protégé
This is Shuree' Wood. A beloved daughter, sister, grand-daughter, great-grand daughter, niece, aunt, friend, and most of all, a fiancé, and a mother of two children. At 33 years old, Shuree' was diagnosed with a rare form of inflammatory breast cancer 6 short months ago. Since then, she has gone through months of chemotherapy and even a mastectomy. Despite the efforts by Shuree' and her doctors at Timpanogas and St. Marks hospital, as aggressive as this cancer is, it has spread to her brain and spinal column. Shuree's condition does not qualify for any kind of treatment even if they're experimental treatments. Without any treatment available, Shuree' is being released to go home to the care of her fiancé Ryan and their two kids, Sydney 14, and Preston 11, to keep her comfortable for the few weeks she has been given, in their home.
Last time Shuree and I spoke, she talked about making arrangements for all of her most prized possessions - who would get her Harry Potter collectibles, and who she wants to have her Studio Ghibli knickknacks. And then went on to talk about leaving money for her kids, Sydney and Preston. With no life insurance, she is very limited to what she can leave behind for them. So, here it is, us asking for support on behalf of Shuree' and her little family. This is in hopes that we can raise enough for her kids to put away long term and to cover costs of the god forbid, what seems to be inevidible.
Why donate? Those of you who are lucky enough to have Shuree' in your lives know already. But for those of you who have missed out on meeting her, she's a true friend, never afraid to tell it to you straight, good or bad. She loves animals, if she had her way, she'd rescue every animal in need, and welcome them all into her house. She's always there when you need a friend. For once, it is Shuree's turn to need a friend in the worst way possible. She needs support. Her family needs support.
We kindly ask for your generous donation to help support Shuree and her family. Every donation, no matter how small will directly alleviate Shuree's stress on leaving behind something for her fiancé and children, and allow them to focus on Shuree.
Thank you for your continuous love and support.
