On March 25th 2018 Dave was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma. He spent the next six days in ICU and is scheduled for surgery in early April. Unfortunately the allowed the cancer to get pretty far so he will need to have a fair amount of skin and skull removed.

Sherry has had to take time off of from working her independent house cleaning business while he has been in the hospital. With Dave in the hospital she is the sole provider for their family and needs to balance time between work and the hospital. 

Once Dave has surgery he will have a long road to recovery until he is able to work again. While we know they will need to come up with funds to offset some healthcare costs their most immediate need is to keep the bills paid and the lights on without Sherry having to worry. 

Funds will initially be used to pay their rent and household utilities. Any additional money raised will be put towards rising medical costs.
