We never imagined we would be creating a fundraiser, but life changed for our family in an instant.

Friday, 11/21/2025, one CT scan changed our lives forever. Melissa brought Shea to the ER because he hadn't been himself in a couple of weeks. That night, he was cold and trembly. An hour later, a doctor told us there was a large mass growing on the left side of Shea's brain. It was one of those free-fall moments when all the strange things from the past few weeks suddenly made sense. The fatigue. The slower responses. The blank stares. Shea stayed in the hospital until Wednesday night. He underwent more scans, three MRIs, and a brain biopsy. The worst was confirmed: a high-grade glioma tumor, an aggressive cancer.

If you have been lucky enough to meet Shea, you know that he is a man of many great qualities.

Shea is the type of guy, where there are not enough words to describe his kind soul. He loves without limits, is caring beyond measure, and will always have your back in a heartbeat. As Shea has been such a supportive husband, father, and friend; we now ask for your help in sharing that same support for him as he has done for us for so many years.

In the days since his diagnosis, we've been doing everything we can to understand his treatment options, manage rapidly growing medical needs and staying strong for him as he fights this devastating disease.

As we focus on giving him the best chance possible - physically, emotionally and financially - we're humbly reaching out for support. The costs of treatment, travel, specialized care, and time away from work can quickly become overwhelming. More than anything we need thoughts and prayers. He needs intentional, strong, powerful prayer from everyone he has inspired. He needs positive encouragement, uplifting messages and the same encouragement he has spent a lifetime giving to others.
