As many of you know, our beloved Shanti experienced a sudden and epic heart attack on the evening of December 11th. He is lucky to be alive and we are extremely grateful that he received immediate emergency intervention and was able to get to the hospital quick enough for much needed medical attention.

Shanti spent the first few days in critical condition at the hospital where he received meticulous care. It was amazing! His recovery so far has been nothing short of a miracle. We are humbled and grateful for modern life saving medicine and technology. He finally made it home the evening of December 17th, thank God!

It is uncertain how long it will take Shanti to fully recover and, we pray that he will. His heart has suffered quite a bit of damage. On Monday the 23rd, he will have another stent put in to further open arterial pathways and hopefully help the heart to function better. In one month, he will have another echocardiogram to determine how his heart is healing.

As Shanti is the bedrock of Little River Woodworks, it will be near to impossible to continue doing business for the foreseeable future. Little River Woodworks has provided consistent financial stability for our family for over 20 years. Shanti is an incredible master woodturner and artisan…….he works hard!

That being said, we come to you with courage and open hearts, asking for help at this vulnerable time. We need monetary support to keep life running smoothly while Shanti takes the time he needs to recover. We suddenly have astronomical medical expenses, as one can only imagine.
