Help Selina Fight Breast Cancer and Rebuild Her Life

Her Story
I am raising funds for Mrs. Selina Akter (Minu), a kind and humble woman from Digolbag village, Habiganj Sadar, Bangladesh, who is bravely battling breast cancer.
Selina’s husband once worked as a labourer in Qatar to support their small family. Sadly, he became seriously ill and had to return home to Zashurabda, Habiganj Sadar. Despite his poor health, he spent everything he had on Selina’s cancer treatment, using all his savings and selling the family’s land.
The financial and emotional strain proved too much, and tragically, he suffered a stroke and passed away.
Now, Selina is left to fight her illness alone while caring for her three children, with no income or property.
Her Current Situation
Selina is undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. Her doctors have recommended several more rounds of treatment, along with specialised medication, diagnostic scans, and follow-up care. Without these, her condition could worsen rapidly.
She is weak and often unable to work or even care for herself properly. Her family depends on the kindness of neighbours and relatives for daily survival.
Her children’s situation:
• Her eldest daughter is married but unable to provide financial support.
• Her 14-year-old son is studying to become a Hafiz of the Qur’an.
• Her youngest daughter, aged 9, is still in school and completely dependent on her mother.
They have already lost their father; now they risk losing their mother too.
