Support Savanna's Medical Journey

My name is Polli Mays. I live in Huntersville, NC with my husband and little dog, Rocky. I have two children, a daughter who is 33 and a son who is about to turn 31. My daughter is married and has one son who is six years old. My son is engaged and will marry the love of his life in December.

The reason for this go fund me is that my daughter had a bleeding stroke seven years ago due to an AVM in her brain. She faces many obstacles due to her stroke, one of them being large medical bills. She has a yearly angiogram which allows her neurosurgeon to see the area of her brain affected by her AVM. This procedure is very expensive! Along with her medical expenses she is also facing large medical expenses due to her son’s recent appendicitis. He went to the hospital for an appendectomy and was released after three days. He began to have pain the following week and was having difficulty functioning, walking doubled over in pain. My daughter and her husband rushed him back to the hospital one week after initial surgery to be told he had an abscess which required more surgery, during which they would insert a drain in his abdomen. This second hospitalization lasted six days. The resulting bills have caused my daughter to be further in medical debt. Won’t you please consider helping my daughter, Savanna?
