It's Ryn's birthday!
We are Ryn's friends and community, here to ask you to help us celebrate their 32nd rotation by supporting their continued education. Ryn has been accepted for a year-long Full Natal Astrology Mentorship through Oak Astrology School, where they will learn a counseling and healing approach to astrology that is abolitionist, and spiritually + ethically aligned. Since this program is radical and non-traditional/institutional, Ryn is not eligible for typical student loans or scholarships.
Please help us support their continued growth and expansion as a communal healing practitioner! Anyone who knows Ryn knows that what we give to her is given back to the community 10-fold (10 million-fold?), and every bit of generosity we can show them will be poured back into us, their community, and the world.
And for those of you who don't know Ryn personally, here’s a little bit about them:
Eli Ryn Brown (they/she/he) is a Black, queer, and nonbinary communal
healing practitioner. His practice is grounded in meditation as an act
of abolition and communal healing as part of the radical rest that
helps sustain revolutionary action. She holds expansive lineage,
incorporating traditional Buddhism, Hoodoo practices, and West African
spirituality into their work to bring accessible community healing
options to marginalized groups and people in need, especially queer
and trans people of color. They are a devotee of both Harriet Tubman
and Oyá.
And finally, a note on receiving donations, from Ryn. We are deeply humbled and touched by their approach to anti-capitalist living; we hope you will be, too:
I have chosen, in deep support and alignment with my community, to
divest from capitalism in every way, as much as possible. This means I
offer as many of my services for free as is sustainable. I am as
wealthy as my community, and that is reflected in both my refusal to
hoard wealth and my joyous participation in asking for folks to
reallocate their resources in support. Even though I am often without
money, I am always deeply held, housed, fed, and cared for. I can
choose to live each day in service of those I love, which is everyone
I’ve ever come to know.
Please share and donate as you're able. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
