Help fund Blitz Brigade: A WWII Cooperative Board Game

Hi! My name is Ryan DeMarco. I'm a former high school history teacher, lifelong WWII enthusiast, and now, an aspiring game designer.

I’ve spent the past year building a cooperative board game called Blitz Brigade, where players take on the role of the London's Auxiliary Fire Service and everyday Londoners during the Blitz, racing to save the city from devastating German Luftwaffe air raids. It’s strategic, team-based, and deeply rooted in real events, all designed to make players feel the tension, urgency, and heroism of this powerful moment in history.

But I need your help!

Why I'm Raising Funds

I’ve written the rules, created the mechanics, and play-tested the game extensively, and now I’m ready to take Blitz Brigade to the next level. To do that, I need to hire a professional artist who can help bring the game board, cards, and components to life with beautiful, historically-inspired artwork.

Visual design is crucial to making the game immersive, playable, and appealing to future backers on Kickstarter. I want Blitz Brigade to honor the spirit of those who lived through the Blitz, and great art is key to doing that well.

I have about $1000 raised already, but I would be so grateful if friends and family could help me make this a reality!
