Be the Change: Empower Women Through Health & Education
In rural and indigenous communities of Jalapa, Guatemala, access to women’s and reproductive health services remains critically low. 90% of women and girls lack essential sexual and reproductive education, and cultural stigma, poor healthcare infrastructure, and systemic gender inequality have left them without the care and knowledge they need.
Did you know?
Only 66.1% of women have access to modern family planning methods.
The maternal mortality rate is 95 deaths per 100,000 live births, highlighting a severe gap in maternal care.
16% of pregnancies occur in teenagers, often due to lack of information and resources.
Our Mission:
We are partnering with the University of San Carlos and EPS Rural to:
✅ Facilitate seminars and workshops for rural communities on women’s and reproductive health.
✅ Develop educational materials to increase awareness and empower women with knowledge.
✅ Provide medical supplies, including contraceptives, pap test materials, and other essential reproductive health products.
How You Can Help:
Your donation will directly support this initiative by funding educational resources, medical supplies, and outreach programs. Even a small contribution can help women in Guatemala gain lifesaving healthcare access and take control of their reproductive rights.
