On September 10, 2026, Robert was tragically and unexpectedly taken from us far too soon. To know Robert was to know someone who found wonder in the little things. He loved nature, fishing, gardening, art, writing, music, and the endless curiosity that made him who he was. He could turn an ordinary day into an adventure, and somehow there was always another garden bed to build, another artist to discover, another idea to create, or another body of water where he was convinced, “I bet there’s fish in there.” Throughout his career in the saltwater aquarium industry, Robert made a name for himself through his knowledge, creativity, and passion. But his greatest accomplishment, and the role he was most proud of, was being a dad. His daughters were his entire world, and he showed up for them with patience, tenderness, encouragement, and a love that made them feel like the most important people in the world.

Robert was also a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was creative, compassionate, funny, endlessly curious, and deeply loved. There are not enough words to explain what he meant to the people who knew him, and there never will be. His passing has left an unimaginable emotional loss, along with unexpected financial burdens for his family. As we navigate the days ahead, make arrangements, and learn how to move forward without him, we are asking for help supporting Robert’s wife and daughters through this incredibly difficult time.
