Support Penny's Fight Against Leukemia

My name is Erika Silva and I am the Center Director for Benicia KinderCare. This week, one of our PreK students was diagnosed with Leukemia. Nothing can prepare anyone for going through something like this. But we are standing together with Penny and her family, rallying to support them in anyway possible. Luckily, they have caught this in its early stages and already being aggressive with treatments. But Penny has a long road ahead of her.

When Penny started with us, she immediately showed all of us how sweet she was. She clung to her teachers and staff and made new friends. Penny is part of our extended family, our community.
