Support Pauline Miller After Devastating Flood

Pauline Miller and her late husband Bill were pillars of the Ridge Manor community. They dedicated years of their lives to serving others as members of the Ridge Manor Community United Methodist Church, the Ridge Manor Community Center, the Ridge Manor Crime Watch, and the Boy Scouts. They have never hesitated to help someone in need, and though she would never ask herself, it is now our turn to help our beloved grandmother. At 94 years old, she has lost everything. The home where she raised generations of our family—where she lived for over 40 years—is gone, swept away by a devastating flood. She’s now homeless, without basic living supplies, and facing the unimaginable task of starting over.

Her home wasn’t just a house. It was a place where all of us learned life’s most important lessons. It’s where we learned to fish and swim, where we camped in the backyard and across the country, where we shared countless family dinners. We measured our height against the banana tree every year, ate ice cream on the porch with Pop Pop, and rode on the mower as she tended the yard with care.

This home was filled with laughter, stories, and memories that shaped our childhoods. It was a gathering place where multiple generations came together, a place of warmth and love. Sadly, all of that has now been washed away.

At 94, she’s in need of help. She has given so much to all of us, nurturing us with love and wisdom, and now it’s our turn to give back. We are raising funds to help her rebuild her life, provide her with the essentials she needs, and ensure that she has the support to recover from this heartbreaking loss.
