Support PACER Center's 2025 Gala for Kids with Disabilities

Hello friends! I am raising money for the PACER Center’s 2025 Gala event!
PACER Center enhances the quality of life and expands opportunities for children, youth, and young adults with all disabilities and their families. They provide resources for children with disabilities and their families, such as assistance to individual families, workshops, materials for parents and professionals, and leadership in securing a free and appropriate public education for all children.
Even though Zion is only in preschool, I have already personally experienced some of the wonderful benefits they have to offer. Navigating through the school system and IEP process is very confusing, and I have attended training sessions to help break down that process step by step. As Zion gets older, I anticipate we will be utilizing their services more and more. They can eventually help with things like assistive technology, advocacy, transition into adulthood with housing and employment opportunities, and so much more.
AND they offer all of this for FREE to families!!
Plus, PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center provides resources designed to benefit ALL students, including those with disabilities.
With the growing uncertainty of the future of the public school system, I fear services like the ones PACER offers will be more vital so that kids like Zion don’t get left behind. If school funding gets cut, it could be detrimental to the services and accommodations offered at his school. We will rely heavily on organizations like PACER to help fight for our kids and get them the education and resources they deserve.
PACER is hosting a Gala on May 10, 2025. This event will raise essential funds to help PACER continue to provide services and resources at no cost to families. Josh and I plan to attend and are raising funds to help cover some of the costs - everything donated will go directly to the PACER organization!
