Support our Friend Eric After Car Theft and Vandalism

Hi everyone!

We ask for your support and kindness for our friend Eric, who has recently endured a series of devastating events. Eric's car was recently keyed, targeted, and stolen, leaving him without reliable transportation to work and live, leaving him with large and unexpected financial burdens. The city has been unable to locate his car.

Eric works long and stressful hours everyday to save money for a new apartment, pay off college debt, financially help out his family, and for future schooling, so we want to help prevent further expenses. He truly is a positive and supportive person--ready to offer a drive, help strangers, and lend money to friends--despite having his own financial responsibilities. He used his car daily to commute to work, help his parents who are out-of-state, so this loss truly has put immense stress on his life.

The vandalism and theft have left Eric in a challenging situation, with repair costs, insurance deductibles, and now the need to find a new vehicle. The expenses are overwhelming, and unfortunately, they do not have the financial means to cover these costs alone.

We have set up this GoFundMe campaign with the goal of helping him recover from this ordeal. The funds will be used to:

1. Assist in the purchase of a new vehicle, as insurance will only cover up to half of the original cost of his car

2. Help him finish paying off the stolen car (as he bought it less than a year ago)
