Support our family through this devastating time

I am utterly devastated to be writing this page asking for your help. Two weeks ago, my partner of 12 years, best friend, and father of my 2 young boys had a terrible crash whilst doing motocross, a sport of which he has loved doing since he was young with his late father and brother. This crash has left him with a broken spine, ribs, shoulder blade and hand and has unfortunately resulted in him being paralysed from the waist down. We know it is a long road to recovery but we’re not sure if or when the movement will come back to James’s legs or whether he will be able to walk again. He is under the amazing care of the NHS for the next few months, we are all praying that he will make a full recovery.

I am starting this Go Fund Me page as 8 weeks ago, I gave birth to our second son, meaning I have just started my maternity leave. With James being unable to work and my reduced income, we are asking for some help to eliminate the financial worry so we can focus on James’s rehabilitation over the next few months/years and get him back home with us.

I was asked to submit a target goal of donations, but in all honesty, we don’t know what this looks like for us as the future is so uncertain. Any donations big or small will be greatly appreciated by us all.
