Honoring Maria’s Memory - Celebrating a Beloved Mother

It is with heavy hearts that we share that in the early hours of the morning, Maria Lourdes took her final breath, surrounded by her loving family. Around 3 AM, she began experiencing respiratory difficulties, and by 4 AM, she peacefully passed, held close by those who loved her most.

While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she was not alone and that her love, kindness, and strength will remain with us forever.

As we navigate through this difficult time, we want to give her the farewell she deserves. A celebration of life may be planned here in the states, where friends and family can gather to remember her beautiful spirit. However, our ultimate goal is to bring her home to Peru, so that her family and friends there can say a proper goodbye and she can be laid to rest in the place she called home.
