Thank you to everyone that has blessed us by financially giving to our family to repurchase the stolen tools. We are beyond thankful. We are ending the go fund me because we have cash and check donations that were given as well and with that we reached our goal. A thousand Thank yous. Mil Gracias.
With a humble heart, I ask for community support and help. We woke up this morning with our son telling us that our work trailer door was open. At those words both my husband and I sprang out of bed and headed towards our living room window to find that indeed our handyman business work trailer door was open. We had been robbed at about 4:50 AM. All our power tools were taken, and my husband is now doing the calculations. About $6,000 worth of tools were taken.
This is written with a heavy heart, since my husband recently launched his handyman business. Which you can find in the link.
We actually just got to celebrate his departure from Every Neighborhood Partnership on Thursday and to wake up on a Sunday morning to this occurrence is devastating.
We are hard-working people and we will get back up.
The livelihoods of our family depend on the resources, like these tools and his hands in order for us to basically stay alive. We depend on the work of his hands and his tools. He is the breadwinner of our family.
If you find it in your heart to generously give to our family in this time of loss and devastation, we would greatly appreciate it. I’m a firm believer in community and community support.
The money will be used to replace all of our tools. Thank you again.
