Support Natalie's Nursing Education Dream

Hello, my name is Natalie. I have worked as a nursing assistant for over a decade. I currently work at an emergency room, doing what I love - caring for patients, their families, and the community. I love what I do so much that I have made numerous attempts at furthering my dream career to become a registered nurse. I have always had unforeseen circumstances pause my journey in that dream. I’m once again currently in nursing school, working very hard to obtain my dream.

I’m unfortunately not a savant in math at all, and I have unfortunately had struggles with passing my required statistics class twice now. I will need to repeat it for a third time, and I was made aware that after the second attempt without passing, my financial aid will no longer cover that class. I don’t currently make much money in my current position at my job and was told by my dean that the class is $3,000 dollars to retake out of pocket. I don’t have that kind of money, I also have no one who is in a financial position to help me with that as much as my support system wishes they could.

I thought I would reach out via GoFundMe for some hope in being able to afford to take the class again so that I can continue in the program and continue to achieve my goal of becoming a registered nurse. Any amount donated is a real blessing and such a huge help for me to continue in my dedication to be the nurse I’m working hard to become.
