Support Nadia's Fight Against Sepsis

Update: They will be removing the wound vac itself soon but I will continue with home health until I am completely. Only downside is that they will have to come daily after the wound vac is removed. The healing time for it to heal on its own can take up to 6 months since the incision is about 9 inches big.

Update: Pronto me quitarán el sistema de vacío para heridas, pero continuaré con la atención médica en casa hasta que esté completamente curada. El único inconveniente es que tendrán que venir a diario después de que se retire el sistema de vacío para heridas. El tiempo de curación para que sane por sí solo puede tardar hasta 6 meses ya que la herida fue de casi 9 pulgadas de grande.

Update: I will be going home on a Home Health Wound Vac and Home IV antibiotics. Not sure when this will take place but when I do go home I’m praying to be able to come home comfortably. Although will not be able to work anytime soon. Thank you all in advance.

Hi, my name is Nadia, and I'm reaching out for support during a challenging time. On May 5th, I had surgery, and unfortunately, I was admitted to Medical City Alliance on May 15th with a severe sepsis infection. The infection is deep in my abdomen, and while doctors have drained the top of my stomach, we're now in a waiting game as antibiotics work to combat the deeper infection.

I'm starting this GoFundMe to help cover the mounting medical expenses from the surgery and the ongoing treatment for sepsis.
