Help Support our Stepdad in His Battle With Stage 4 Bladder Cancer. Since surgery on January 12th, 2026, updated scans came back. Our stepdad Jeff, who’s also a husband, a dad & a grandpa, received the heartbreaking news that he has stage 4 bladder cancer & was given up to 2 years. In the recent months, he has frequently been hospitalized for pain management. After the surgery, he was informed that he will no longer be able to work.

During this hard time, his loyal wife and life long partner, Carol has been working as much as she can to keep everything afloat and still be able to manage being there for him. However, with him not being able to work, she is doing everything she can to make it so she doesn’t have to get another job because that would mean, less time with him. They are struggling to keep up with their monthly bills while also trying to prepare for the medical expenses ahead. The financial stress has become incredibly heavy for them.

Before being diagnosed he had just started a new job and, because of the transition, he lost his medical insurance. Now he’s facing the overwhelming costs of tests, treatments, and doctor visits without any coverage.

We’re doing everything we can as a family to support him, but we can’t do it alone. Our goal is to raise funds that will provide Jeff and Carol much needed financial relief. This will assist cover their basic living expenses and medical costs and most importantly, allow Jeff and Carol to be together as much as possible.
