Support MSMS Students' Journey to National History Day
Tax deductible
On April 6, (for the 7th year in a row) MSMS participated in Vermont History Day, a statewide competition to showcase original research-based history projects. Students compete with scholars across the state, and the top winners are invited to National History Day in June at the University of Maryland. National History Day is a fifty-year-old event that showcases student work from all U.S. states and territories.
This year, 25 MSMS students won awards at VHD, and 11 qualified to enter the National History Day competition!! This is quite an accomplishment and an amazing opportunity for these students to spend time on a college campus, meet and share their work with peers from across the country, and to visit our nation's capital.
MSMS is going to cover the cost of the entry fees ($160 each student.) But families are still responsible for transportation and accommodations. We want every student to be able to attend, so we are asking for donations to help with these expenses. Anything you can provide to assist these families to allow their students to experience this amazing opportunity will be greatly appreciated - Thank You!
