Hello, my name is Star Combs, and I am raising funds to help care for my cat, Moose. Moose has IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) and requires a special prescription diet in order to keep food down and maintain a healthy weight. Without this diet, he becomes sick and begins to lose weight while throwing up and having constipation, which are common symptoms of IBD. I have epilepsy and currently do not have an income, which makes it difficult to afford his ongoing care. I rescued Moose many years ago, and he has been living with IBD for a long time. He is a sweet, indoor senior cat that loves spending time with my other cat, Catalina, a Siamese kitty. At 10 years old, Moose is also at risk for other health concerns, including pancreatitis and kidney issues, making his diet especially important. His prescription Royal Canin food costs around $80 per month. Any amount of help is deeply appreciated and will go toward helping Moose feel better and live a healthier, more comfortable life.
