The Boston MedFlight Sunshine Fund is raising money in support of one of their own crew members and his family. Jonny Prins, a longtime BMF EMT, and his family welcomed baby girl Millie into the world in February. At that time, she fought her first battle with the removal of a prenatally diagnosed sacrococcygeal teratoma. She spent multiple weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit and was finally able to be discharged home.

Now starts the second part of Millie's journey. Millie's yolk sac tumor has regrown and is now cancerous. Millie will undergo weeks of chemotherapy in Boston. In order to pay bills, Millie's Mother, Tiesha, will have to work remotely from the bedside during chemotherapy. For Millie's Dad, Jon, to be present with Millie, he will have to try and work in between her chemotherapy cycles and attempt to get leave for days that she has appointments on.

This will create financial stress on the family. Medical bills, housing in the city, meals, and childcare for big brother Bennett add up quickly.
