I was in a high impact car accident four years ago that damaged my liver and then a doctor prescribed a medication that has a side effect of liver damage. I was on that medication for 10 months before any blood work was ordered and now I am in liver failure. The silver lining is that given enough time, enough rest, and with radical diet changes the liver can heal.

My doctors have told me that rest is key and I find it difficult to rest because I need to work. Six weeks ago when I collapsed once again and was in my doctor's office asking why, she asked me what it was that I wasn't understanding.
