My name is Nick, my wife Kayla and I are trying to raise money to pay for medical expenses for our wonderful cat, Maximus.

We adopted Maximus in Mesa Arizona just over one year ago and he has been a staple of our family ever since.

In just one year he has accompanied us on so many adventures including traveling across the country to move to our new home in Downers Grove Illinois.

Sadly, Maximus was found with Struvite Crystals in his bladder and needs to be monitored for the next 24-36 hours to make sure he can pass the crystals and not need surgery to unblock him. We are hopeful that this will all pass and he will be back to our happy healthy boy soon, but this unexpected cost came at an unfortunate time considering our kitchen pipe burst from the freezing temperatures and flooded our kitchen the same day as this experience at the emergency vet.
