Support Mark Peretz' family after horrific loss

With broken hearts, we share the loss of our hero, father of 3 - Mark Peretz.

On October 7th, the Peretz family awoke to the sound of sirens in their Rishon LeZion home- and shortly thereafter learned that their daughter, Maya, was attending the music festival in Reim which witnessed the brutal murder of more than 250 beautiful souls from all over the world.

As soon as Mark found out that his daughter was at the scene of a terrorist attack, he rushed out of the house and drove south to try to rescue her. Unfortunately, he did not make it there. On the way, in Mefalsim Intersection, he encountered Hamas terrorists who shot and killed him without hesitation.

Mark leaves behind his wife, Nirit, and three beautiful children, Gilad, Tomer and Maya. The children have recently completed their IDF service and were planning on starting their undergraduate degree this year. Specifically, Gilad and Tomer were to begin their studies at the Afeka School of Engineering on October 15th. Unfortunately, due to the war, their school year has been delayed.

We would like to raise $100,000 to help the Peretz family with costs incurred due to the horrific loss of their father/husband, and to pay for the education of Gilad, Tomer and Maya this coming year. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and the Israeli people- every small gesture helps.

For transparency, the money will be sent to Mark's in-law (Yehuda Cohen) who will be helping with allocating the funds to the right places. This has been approved by Mark's family.
