Support Maribel's Liver Transplant Journey

Hello my name is Maribel, This is my story. I’m only 23, I was doing good in life and had my health stable and also working but something bad happened to me and it all happened so fast. All started with me not eating well and not keeping anything in my stomach, also being tired everyday and a lot other stuff than ended up at the hospital going through so much medicines trying to figure out what was going on and turns out everything ended up being my liver. I was diagnose with liver cirrhosis a while back and now got worst this year needing a new liver and all my life I been dealing with a lot of health issues since I was 6 years old and always been in and out of the hospitals. Thankfully I’m not in so much pain like I was when I was getting treated at the hospital. It just has been very difficult and scary for me and my family. I am on the list for a liver transplant and it’s been 2 months already I been waiting, I’m having to take so much medicines to keep me stable right now. I’m going to the doctors office for a treatment weekly and having to get poke so many times. I been having to go back to the hospital again these couple of last months and still am. I’m not able to go back to work or do anything at all and my surgery will have to be done in California and I have to stay at least a couple months out there before being able to go back home. I could really just use some help that will help me and my family a lot with the trip and extra expenses I will need to pay while going through all this. All this just had brought me down a lot me having to stay home and not be able to work and going to many doctors appointments and waiting and waiting for a donor and figuring out how to have money for the trip to California and anything else I need when I’m up there so I’m asking anyone for help and anything will do, I will appreciate that so much thank you and god bless you❤️
