Support Mariachi Violetas' Trajes for Carnegie Hall debut

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

We are proud to announce that we have been invited by NYU to perform in conjunction with Carnegie Hall in 2025, a prestigious opportunity that showcases not only our talent but also the beauty of Mariachi music to New York and beyond. To further our group and our representation of our school and culture, we are raising funds to help us purchase traditional Mariachi trajes, typically around $550 per person, for this amazing opportunity we have been presented with!

Founded by Director Diego Quintanilla, who has been playing Mariachi with his family since age six, Mariachi Violetas de NYU started its journey in September of 2023. What began with just nine passionate members has blossomed into a diverse group of 20 talented musicians, representing various cultural backgrounds, NYU, and the spirit of New York City.
