Support Lola Aida Saul Tabares' ICU Medical Care

Hi, my name is April June Tabares, Shearwater Nurse and I came all the way from the Philippines with a dream to provide a better life for my family. As a registered nurse, I’ve dedicated myself to helping others, and I moved here alone with the hope of finding meaningful work to support my loved ones back home.
Leaving behind my family and home country was not easy, but it was a necessary sacrifice to ensure a brighter future for those I care about most. I am reaching out because, despite my best efforts, I am facing challenges in meeting my financial goals and supporting my family through this journey.
Thanks for the unwavering love and support of my grandmother, Aida Tabares. From the moment I was born, she stepped in as my provider and mother, and it’s because of her that I was able to complete my nursing education and pursue a career in healthcare. My grandmother has been my pillar of strength, my guiding star, and the person who raised me as her own, sacrificing so much of herself to ensure I had everything I needed to succeed.
Please help my grandmother fight. She is currently admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of IMH in the Philippines, battling her life with Subdural Hemorrhage. This news came unexpectedly and the diagnosis has been a shock to our family. I want to give back to her in the most meaningful way I know — by providing her with the best care possible, the kind of care she has so selflessly given to me all these years.
As a nurse working under a staffing agency, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to start a new life in the U.S. While I'm doing everything I can to build a stable future, I also have the responsibility of being the breadwinner for my family. Balancing these financial pressures makes it difficult to afford the kind of professional care my grandmother needs.
She is one of the most selfless, loving person I know, and it's my turn to be there for her. Unfortunately, the cost of top-tier care is beyond what I can manage on my own, and that's where I need your help.
I am humbly asking for any amount of support you can possibly share or give. With your support, I can ensure that my grandmother receives the professional care, comfort, and attention she deserves. Any donation, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to giving her the peace of mind she’s earned. I am doing this for her and I hope you can help me raise funds for her medical expenses and treatment.
Thank you for considering helping me honor the woman who gave me everything. Your generosity means the world to both of us.
