Our dear friend, colleague, and dedicated educator, Laura Angell, received life changing news this summer; she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

As Laura begins this unexpected journey, she would like to keep friends, family, and supporters informed about her progress while focusing her energy on treatment and healing. Her care plan as of now includes immediate chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and future infusions.

This diagnosis has also required Laura to take an immediate and unplanned leave of absence from work, creating a significant financial burden at a time when her focus should be on her health and recovery.

We are asking our community to come together to support Laura during this challenging season. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial stress of medical treatment and time away from work. Just as importantly, your prayers, encouragement, and messages of support will remind Laura that she is surrounded by people who care deeply for her.
