Support Kylie's Road to Recovery

Several weeks ago there was an unthinkable tragedy and our beloved Kylie, pre-school teacher and friend to so many, was severely injured.

She was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and has undergone multiple surgeries. She is now in stable condition and continues to improve each day, however, she will remain in the hospital for several more weeks.

It was less than a year ago that Kylie chose Steamboat as her home and has had a profound impact on the community in her short time here. When not teaching, you will find Kylie babysitting for families in the area or skiing with a trail of preschool students behind her, just because she loved spending time with them.

Kylie is a fighter and she will no doubt make it through this trying time, but she will need all the support we can give. It will be a long road to recovery, both physically and emotionally.

This fundraiser is being organized by the families of Kylie's students, and we hope that the funds raised will help allow her and her family to take the time needed to rest and recover so that she can once again shine her bright light among the children and people of Steamboat, and beyond, who love her so dearly. We want nothing more than for her to continue her dream of teaching children here in the Steamboat community for years to come.
