Kris King is my dear friend, and recently, life has taken a difficult turn for them. In December, Kris suffered a stroke and, as a result, needed a new heart valve. I am also currently on dialysis. The medical journey has been overwhelming, and the challenges have only grown since then. While Kris was in the hospital recovering, a pipe in their home burst due to the harsh winter weather, causing extensive water damage. This unexpected disaster has added even more stress to an already tough situation.

The money raised through this fundraiser will go directly toward helping Kris with medical co-pays and deductibles, which have quickly piled up. In addition, the funds will help cover the costs of repairing the water damage in Kris’s home, so they have a safe and comfortable place to continue their recovery. Every dollar will make a real difference in easing the financial burden and helping Kris focus on healing.
