Support Kelly's Journey to Health and Mobility

Kelly is a single mother of two. In May of 2022, she underwent a double mastectomy with a TRAM rebuild. She has a BRCA 1 mutation that put her lifetime risk at 80% of getting breast cancer. Unfortunately, she was one of the few who have complications. The last surgery triggered something in her body and she has had chronic health issues since.

Doctors have yet to find a cause of Kelly’s issues, though she is continuing to try to find an answer.

A trigger for the pain is standing and walking for more than a short period. It has made doing things with her two kids very difficult as she tires easily and has to avoid certain activities. Insurance does not cover the wheelchair and renting one is also expensive and complicated.

An electric wheelchair will help her to be able to create more memories with her children. They hope to do a small Orlando vacation for her 40th Birthday in September. Having the chair will make the trip much easier.
