Support Katrina's Medical Mission Trip to Peru

Hi everyone!

I’m Katrina Trujillo, a licensed occupational therapist with a strong commitment to improving the healthcare sector and supporting those it serves. My passion for healthcare continues to grow as I now balance my role as a full-time clinician with being a part-time student, pursuing my Master’s in Health Administration at the University of Miami.

One of my longtime dreams has been to join a mission trip and use my skills to make a meaningful impact in underserved communities—and I’m excited to share that the opportunity has finally come.

This summer from July 23rd - August 4th 2025, I’ve been honored with the chance to join Scalpel at the Cross, a nonprofit organization that has spent the past 20 years providing medical and surgical care to the people of Pucallpa, Peru. I will be joining their summer medical mission team as the therapist on board, providing therapy to patients following their orthopedic surgeries—supporting their recovery and helping them regain function, independence, and quality of life.
