My Dad’s Caretake’s Parents Need To Rebuild Home in Jamaica from Hurricane…
My name is Debbie from Miami Florida, and I’m raising funds on behalf of my dear friend Juliet — the caregiver who lovingly cared for my parents when they were ill. She is one of the most selfless and kindhearted people I know. This is my chance to give back to her by doing what I can for her parents.
Today, she and her family are facing unimaginable loss. Their family home of 60 years in Bunkers Hill, Trelawny, Jamaica — along with many others in their community — was completely destroyed by the recent hurricane. What was once a close, humble, and loving neighborhood now lies in devastation.
Floodwaters swept through homes, leaving families with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Roofs were ripped off, walls collapsed, and everything they worked their whole lives for disappeared overnight. Schools and nursing homes in the area were also destroyed, leaving children and the elderly without safe shelter.
Despite their heartbreak, the spirit of the community remains — they are trying to help one another rebuild, even with so little left themselves.
I am organizing this fundraiser to help provide:
• Materials to rebuild homes for families who lost everything
• Food, clean water, and basic necessities
• Clothing and bedding for children, women, and men
• Support for the caregivers and elderly who have nowhere else to go
Our goal is to raise $5,000 USD, which will go directly to my friend, her family, and others in Bunkers Hill who urgently need assistance. I will ensure that the funds are used transparently for rebuilding and essentials.
Even a small donation can make a big difference. If you can’t give, please share this campaign to help spread the word. Together, we can help restore hope to this beautiful community.
