Support Journey's Fight After Terrible Bike Accident

Dear Family and Friends,

It is with a very heavy heart that I share some devastating news. My 13-year-old granddaughter—and Ryan’s daughter—Journey was in a terrible accident on Tuesday evening. She was riding an electric bike and crashed. She was airlifted to a hospital in Indianapolis, where she remains in an induced coma after suffering major trauma.

She survived a five-hour surgery to repair two breaks in her back, and we’re praying she will improve enough in the next day or so to breathe on her own again. Every day and every minute she continues to fight is a blessing.

We know she has a long road ahead—weeks of recovery, therapy, and more. Needless to say, we are beyond devastated and deeply in need of prayers and support. I’m starting this to help support the family in Indianapolis, who have been by her side every minute and are far from home.
