Hi, I'm Josh, the artist many of you know by nifty (N1FTey).

After four years of living in my vehicle, I am finally moving on to a better living situation. With the help of the Department of Veterans Affairs, I will soon be able to obtain housing and enjoy a much more stable environment for continuing my art practice.

I became an artist unexpectedly, out of desperation while homeless, and I worked tirelessly to learn and improve my craft to the best of my ability. Creating art has been my anchor, providing me with a sense of purpose and hope during the toughest times.

Although I learned much and contributed much to the crypto art and Ai communities, I have been limited by my access to resources. I spent most of the past years trying to advocate for safe and ethical Ai, while attempting to represent the crypto-art space positively; but now it's time to focus on myself, my health, and my art. I am very much looking forward to continuing my artistic journey in a safer and more comfortable environment.

However, moving is always expensive; and as such, I am seeking help from my friends, supporters, and the broader community to help cover the costs and fees needed to secure housing. Your support will not only help me find a stable home but also allow me to focus on my art without the constant worry of living in my truck.

Any funds in excess of the up-front moving costs will go towards much needed dental care; and with any luck towards new art supplies. I am very much looking forward to extending my art practice beyond the digital realm, and I have immediate aspirations to learn oil painting and other traditional techniques, but first I must get healthy and housed.
