Support John O'Brien's Mission to L.A. Dream Center

Dear Friends and Family,

This October, I’ll be embarking on a short-term mission trip to the L.A. Dream Center, a ministry that’s making a powerful impact in Los Angeles. Last year, I had the privilege of serving at the Dream Center, and it was a truly life-changing experience. I felt a deep call to return, and this time, I need your help to make it possible.

The Dream Center serves some of the most vulnerable communities in Los Angeles, and during my trip, I’ll be directly involved in a variety of activities aimed at spreading hope, love, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Here’s a glimpse into what I’ll be doing:

Ministering to the Homeless on Skid Row – Sharing the love of Jesus with individuals who are struggling and offering support, prayer, and hope to those living on the streets.

Neighborhood Ministry in Compton and Crenshaw – Engaging with families and individuals in some of L.A.’s most underserved areas, offering a message of hope and transformation through Christ.

Distributing Meals to Families on a Fixed Income – Helping to provide much-needed food to families who are facing financial hardship.

Ministering to Children in Local Schools – Playing games, building relationships, and sharing the love of Christ with children in local elementary schools.

Serving at the Dream Center’s Kitchen – Assisting in the preparation of over 200,000 meals a year that are served to the homeless across L.A. Three meals a day, seven days a week, all made possible by the Dream Center’s amazing volunteers.

This mission trip is not just about helping others; it’s about growing in faith, expanding my heart for service, and learning how to be a vessel for God’s love in the world. But I can’t do it alone—I need your help to raise the funds to cover travel, lodging, and other expenses associated with this trip.
