Support Jesus' Battle Against Mantle Cell Lymphoma

Hello everyone!! My name is Amairani. First of all, thank you for even bothering and taking the time to read this. Not sure if I was ready to share it with the whole world, and it hurts my heart to be doing this, but we really need the help. I am making this Gofund me for my dad, Jesus. My dad is very sick.. My dad has Cancer and is sick with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. He’s been getting treated, for some time now, at Rush and Stroger hospital here in Chicago, IL. Over time with all treatment, my dad’s been super weak. He’s done a lot of chemo and transfusions here and there. My dad’s always been very independent and strong. No matter how sick he is or was, he’d always get up for work. After getting sick, he has not been able to do much like he used to. Some days are really bad days, while others can be alright for him. It’s really painful to say, but my dad does not have a lot of time left. Even after the transplant he was able to get and according to his doctors, his time left here went from 2 / 3 years to 7 years, maybe a bit longer if we get lucky. My dad has not been able to work for a long time now due to doctors’ orders. My family and I only ask for help because I have seen how bad and depressed my dad’s been for a couple of months now. Some days, he doesn’t want to see or talk to anyone, not even us. I’ve watched his hair fall off from the first round of chemo ever, to non stop vomit, to me giving him injections as part of his treatment. And now while he’d want to give up already, he still tries every day to get up. My dad says he wants to be here. So, for as long as he’s here, hopefully really old, I’d like to help him out as much as I can. This is me trying to give back to my dad. I love my dad, so I beg for your help. This money will be going towards all his medications, parking for these hospitals, bills, and to help my dad get back on his feet, so he doesn’t feel guilty for having cancer and not being able to work. And, as heartbreaking as it is, it would be nice to have it in case and be prepared, if anything happens to him since we do not know how much time he has left since this cancer can come back anytime..
