Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support as my dad, Jerry Raguse, is in the toughest fight of his life. Last autumn (2025), he was diagnosed with Stage 4, Urothelial Carcinoma, with the majority of it being in his kidney. Anyone that is close to Jerry knows that he is kind-hearted man, a dedicated father and grandfather, the hardest working person you will ever meet, and he has always been there for others. His focus has never been on making the most money, but rather helping people. This can be seen in the volunteering he has done over the years, including: being a volunteer firefighter and paramedic in the Harwood Fire and Resue, a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and board member for the Red River Fair. He has spent his life caring for his family and others, and now we want to do everything we can to support him.

The Challenges Ahead

Due to the intensity of his treatment, Jerry has had to limit his hours working, which has brought unexpected financial pressure on my parents. The costs of everything are adding up, and we are aiming to ease this burden so he can focus entirely on recovery.

• Transportation to/from treatments, along with vehicle maintenance

• Dentist costs, as treatment is taking a toll on his teeth
