JD, the beloved son of our friend Mike, has recently entered hospice care while the family is in Florida—far from home, their support system, and the comfort of familiar surroundings. This is an incredibly difficult time, and the distance has created even more obstacles as they focus on what matters most: keeping JD comfortable and surrounding him with love. As you can imagine, being away from home while navigating hospice care has brought unexpected medical expenses, travel costs, and countless other challenges.
