Support Janeya's Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer

I am reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my dear friend, Jennie Murphy, and her brave daughter, Janeya Satkamp. At just 30 years old, Janeya, a devoted single mother, is facing the fight of her life against HERS2- stage 4 breast cancer. The statistics are stark, with a survival rate after 3 years being a mere 12%.

Janeya’s resilience and courage have been a beacon of hope for us all, but now she faces her toughest challenge yet. Her best chance for survival lies with the pioneering treatment at MD Anderson in Texas, a facility renowned for its cutting-edge cancer care. However, this lifeline comes with a steep price, as MD Anderson does not accept Janeya’s health insurance, leaving every expense to be paid out of pocket.

Jennie, a dedicated respiratory therapist, has spent her career saving the lives of countless babies, now she needs our help saving hers. The cost of treatment, travel, and care for Janeya’s 6 year old son Jakey during this time is significant, and she needs our help.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to rally support for Janeya. Your donation will help cover medical bills, travel expenses to Texas, and provide hope while battling this aggressive cancer. Her first PET scan at Anderson, a $10,000 expense, begins in mid-Jun.
