Support Jamie’s First Mini-Mission Trip to Namibia

Over a year ago, God placed a powerful calling on my life. A missionary couple visited Multiply Church to share their story and seek support through prayer, financial giving, and hands-on help. As the Fogelmans spoke, I was deeply moved by their passion and testimony. When Pastor Doug returned to the stage, he said something that struck me: “Some of you will feel led to pray for this couple, others will feel called to give to their mission… and some of you will feel God leading you to join them.” Suddenly, my heart began to race, my palms grew sweaty, and I felt a strong pull from the Holy Spirit. Pastor Doug continued, “...what if there’s a family that God is calling? If your heart is racing, and you’re thinking, ‘I’ve never even heard of Namibia before today…’ what if that family is you?” At that moment, I realized God was calling my family to join the Fogelmans in Namibia.

As the service ended, the Lord gave me a clear command: go introduce yourself. Confused and overwhelmed, I challenged God, saying, “If you really want me to talk to them, they need to be standing by the door when I get the kids… I’m not going out of my way.” In true God fashion, there they were, right by the door. Trembling with fear and uncertainty, I approached them. My voice shook as I shared what I had been experiencing. Though my words were broken with tears, they listened, embraced my feelings, and prayed with me.

What started as an exciting season of vision and promise soon transitioned into one of healing and personal growth. Over the past year, God has allowed me to break, only to rebuild me with His mercy, love, and forgiveness. He has healed deep-rooted wounds I’ve carried for years.

Fast forward to today, and the vision God gave me is beginning to come full circle. Namibia feels more real than ever. A few members of our prayer team have been invited to go to Namibia to pray over the strongholds that are hindering the Fogelmans' mission. This week-long mission trip will be the first of many, I believe. It’s a significant step of faith for me—my first time leaving the country, my first mission trip, and my first week away from my family. A lot of firsts and a lot of preparation.

This brings me to why I’m reaching out. This trip comes with costs, and my family cannot cover it on our own. I’ve asked God to close this door if it's not the right time, but He has promised to provide a way. The Holy Spirit has encouraged me to seek help. If you’re unable to give financially, I simply ask for your prayers for me and my family as we prepare. However, if you feel led and are able to contribute, I would be deeply grateful for any amount you can provide toward my goal of $2,500. Every donation will go toward my flight, lodging, and food during the trip.

Thank you for taking the time to hear my story and for supporting the spread of God’s Kingdom. Jesus has already accomplished the work—we just want to share it with the world.
